Gut Oggau

faces.png

Gut Oggau is a small Austrian wine estate located in Burgenland. The vineyards are cultivated using biodynamic principles (demeter certified) with traditional wine making methods in the cellar. With its small production (only up to 18,000 bottles per year), Gut Oggau's wines are extremely polular.

Each bottle’s label features a line-drawn black and white portrait of a fictional family character. The family has three generations - the younger generations come from younger vines, the older generations from older vines. Each wine is a blend of indigenous grapes, including Bläufrankish, Zweigelt, Gruner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) and Gewürtzraminer.
