"Pale red color. Flinty red cherry, botanical herbs, Oriental spices and powdered rocks on the captivating nose. Then sweet, juicy and penetrating, with very clean flavors similar to the aromas. Closes long and refined, but with plenty of early appeal and yet a great deal of staying power too. This is lovely. A truly outstanding Etna Rosso, one of the best entry level wines from this denomination I have tasted this year. Made from Nerello Mascalese vines planted at 850 meters above sea level on the northern slope of Etna."
