This Bordeaux style wine exhibits ripe cassis, plum and licorice aromas; delicate nose of vanilla and toasted almond add further complexity. The palate unfolds in a myriad of layers of ripe blackcurrant and red fruit interwoven with savory oak; the long and flavor finish is well supported by dry and fine grained tannins.
 
In 2014, the first launched item ‘Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2011’ was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal at the CWSA - China Wine& Spirits Awards, followed by the 2012 vintage taking the Silver Medal from DWWA 2015 - Decanter World Wine Awards. ‘Legacy Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2012’ has also been selected for the Bettane + Desseauve Yearly Wine Guide 2016.
