This is Aleatico from a tiny, 70 year old parcel of ungrafted vines that spend two years in a single barrel and four years in magnum before release. It is a rich, powerful wine of staggering complexity, pairing the exuberant fruit and flowers for which the grape is known with a deep minerality to create something otherworldly. Bottled only in magnum in tiny quantities.
